Geneva Sailing School offers private and group sailing lessons on First Class and Surprise. We support you from your first steps on a boat to you holding the steer and making sailing deisions with confidence, taking into account your objectives and levels. Aiming for the sailing license? We will be by your side until you achieve your goal!
You will discover and learn all the nautical basic manoeuvers, such as setting sail, tacking, jibing, picking up a mooring, man overboard, general safety on board, sailing at different speeds, building confidence, and many other things.
For those who want to improve their knowledge, we offer advanced courses adapted to your level. On schedule : handling the spinnaker, fine-tuning the sails, balancing the helm, communication with the crew, navigation in heavy weather and routing.
Private courses
Whatever your goals and skill level, Geneva Sailing School adapts to your needs with personalised 2hours private lessons. On First Class or Surprise sailboats, you can book individual lessons or take advantage of our discounted packs to progress further in your sailing journey, alone or with others.
To participate in private lessons, participants must be at least 14 years old. However, children under 14 may accompany their parent for a special additional fee of CHF 30 per 2-hour lesson. If you are interested, please let us know. We welcome children from a very young age, provided they are accompanied by an adult.
1 person : 95.– per hour : 190.– per lesson
2 person : 62.5.– per hour, : 250.– per lesson
3 person : 50.– per hour : 300.– per lesson
4 person : 43.75.– per hour : 350.– per lesson
5 person : 40.– per hour : 400.– per lesson

How to book a pack of courses ?
Choose your pack (5 or 10 lessons, number of participants).
Make a bank transfer using the details provided via this link and send us an email specifying which pack you chose.
In the email subject line, include the full name of the person whose account the pack should be credited to.
Once we receive the transfer, we will credit your account with 5 or 10 lessons (depending on the pack).
You will then be able to view your pack balance at any time on our booking platform (link), check availability, and book lessons on the dates/times of your choice.
To book using your pack: select :“Sailing lesson – 1 to 5 people” enter 1 participant, even if your pack is valid for several people.
Our packs are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and are neither exchangeable nor refundable.

Collective courses
Our collective courses encourage group learning in a friendly atmosphere : join us and become a true crew member!
Minimum 3 participants, maximum 4 for teaching quality. Available from 14 y/o.
Motorboat courses
Looking to pass your Category A motor boat licence and cruise freely on Lake Geneva?
Our private lessons take place on a 50 HP semi-rigid tender, with our certified female and male instructors. Lessons available in French or English. You’ll learn boat handling, navigation and safety, and prepare for the exam at your own pace. Whether you’re a complete beginner or not, you’re welcome on board. Start with a trial lesson, which will be included in the pack if you decide to continue.

Single lesson : 100 .- / hour – Pack of 10 one-hour lessons : 900 .-
